Historic Douglas County Coverlet

Historic Douglas County Inc. presents its HISTORIC LANDMARK COVERLET for Douglas County, Colorado. This is the third production run for this beautiful coverlet. Each production run has been in a different background color. The first production in 1997 was run in burgundy …the run to follow in 1999 was hunter’s green. This 2013 production run was done in a striking, dark navy blue background. The fringed coverlet measures 48 inches by 68 inches.

The HISTORIC LANDMARK COVERLET features twelve historic landmarks in the County, historical structures that are deeply ingrained in Douglas County’s early history and cultures. As the County map profile to the right depicts, these twelve landmarks are located throughout Douglas County.

You can order a coverlet on-line by following the instructions shown below. Each coverlet ordered is $55 plus a shipping and handling fee of $13.00 for a total of $68.00. With each coverlet you receive a booklet providing historical detail about each site represented on the coverlet .

To avoid the shipping and handling costs, coverlets are also available for sale at the Castle Rock Museum and every public event in which Historical Douglas County, Inc. participates throughout the year. Check the Castle Rock Museum website for hours when the Museum is open.
