History Education at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo 2014

August 8, 9 and 10, 2014 were the “History Days” at Historic Douglas County, Inc’s (HDC’s) History Booth.  Participating with HDC in 2014 at the History Booth were the Douglas County Historic Preservation Board, Roxborough Area Historical Society, Highlands Ranch Historical Society, Larkspur Historical Society, Castle Rock Historical Society & Museum, Sedalia Museum and Gardens, Smoky Hill Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Parker Area Historical Society.  Check out the storyboard below of these groups that are so vital in educating the general public about the rich history and pioneering culture of Douglas County.
