Veterans Day at the Plaza

On the mostly sunny, breezy morning of Veterans’ Day, 2011, some three hundred-fifty veterans, family, friends and dignitaries gathered at “The Plaza”, Fourth and Wilcox in Castle Rock, to recognize there comrades and family members who paid the “ultimate price in past wars and present. The celebration and recognition was recognized by speakers including Brigadier General David Warner, USAF (Ret.). The flags of all the services and the POW were raised and ribbon cutting for the new Plaza which will house a beautiful recognition sculpture in the near future.
